WOW - glad this is over...but it sure was FUN! So was my 4 hour nap today! We had a GREAT time with our Holiday Extravaganza Stamp-A-Stack Friday night and Saturday morning!

We learned alot too! 56 stampers (split between 2 sessions) is a lot of stampers to accomodate!

This was Friday night....we learned that the tables at the Senior Center are not only shorter in length, but also narrower than we are use to at Trinity.....

Friday night....

Notice the table on the left of the photo below - we doubled them up to make more room for the supplies.....

Saturday....

Here are the cards we made:

We charged $20 per person and everyone received a $5 off coupon good on their order THAT DAY ONLY! This is an incentive to place orders and it works really good. Everyone made 2 of each card. We type up the instructions for each table too.
BEST TIP I'LL EVER GIVE YOU! - EVERYONE must prepay for stamping events....there is nothing more frustrating than having people not show up, not pay for it either or cancel at the last minute! There is SOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo much work that goes into a big event like this. I make sure everyone knows that there are NO cancellations. If they can't make it - I will make the cards for them and they still have to pay. PLEASE ALWAYS use this policy if you host a stamping event!
Another good tip - tell everyone that the sample cards on the table are reserved for stampers that could not come - they CANNOT take them if their card doesn't turn out. We ended the stamp-a-stack missing alot of samples from the tables - my biggest frustration is NOW spending time making those samples again.
Due to the HUGE attendance, I used some of my registration fees to buy about $175 in product for door prizes too.
