Everyone is asking for my Cocoa Gift Set instructions....so here they are!!!! I had a blast making this little jewel....AND it earned me 1st place in the 3-D contest at Ann Huebner's Demo meeting last month!!!!!

Instructions & Ingredients:

Ingredients:
Stamps: Holiday Lineup; Best Yet; Warm Words; Punch Pals (Snowflakes) Bold
Snowflake Jumbo Wheel
Ink:
StazOn Black; Brocade Blue; Bashful Blue; Close to Cocoa
Cardstock:
Whisper White; Bashful Blue; Brocade Blue
Accessories:
Silver Elastic Cording; Linen Thread; Dimensionals; Buttons Diecut;
Aqua Painter; Pumpkin Pie Marker; Sticky Strip; Stapler; Aquapics;
4 Cocoa Packets; Mini Marshmallows; Punches: 3/4" Circle, Lg & Sm
Oval, Round Tab, Lg & Sm Tag, Ticket Corner, 1/16" Hole; Snow Blossom;
5/8" Brocade Blue Grosgrain; 1/4" White Grosgrain; Ziplock baggie;
Dazzling Diamonds; 2-Way Glue Pen

The little tubes with the marshmallows are called AquaPics - you can get them at any floral store - they are used to put on the end of a single flower.

Dimensions:
Snowmen.....
Brocade Blue - 2 3/8" x 4 1/2"
Bashful Blue - 2 1/8" x 3 1/2"
White - 2" x 3 3/8"

Box Template

Stamp your image and color....I used my good old Aqua Painter, ink pads and the Pumpkin Pie marker for the noses.

Using the cocoa template - cut and score according to directions.

Using the Bold Snowflake wheel - wheel the cocoa pouch and tube holder boxes.

Apply sticky strip to the cocoa pouch where shown here. I also applied some Snail to the other edge under my fingers. Shape cocoa pouch and stick together.

Once you stick it together....it should look like this - apply sticky strip where shown here (now you're ready to put the tube holder in place):

Apply sticky strip to the tube holder box like shown (again, I used Snail on the edges that don't have the sticky strip):

Put Tube Holder together:

Waaaaa Laaaaa - Now take the red backing off the sticky strip and stick both boxes together. Make sure the Tube Holder is flush with the front edge of the Cocoa Container.

I used 5/8" Brocade Blue Grosgrain and used Snail on the 1/4" White Grosgrain Ribbon to attach it directly to the blue.

Staple your ribbon to the Cocoa Pouch section of the box. I punched out 2 Round Tabs - cut them in half and attached them to the base of the ribbon handle with Sticky Strip - one on each side (see the 2nd photo from the top).

The rest is just details.....

This is hard to see....but after I put the marshmallows in the tube with a skewer stick (to poke them down) I covered the end of the tube with a small piece of ziplock baggie that I cut up. This will keep them fresh...there is a hole in the lid of the Aquapic for insertion of a flower.

Punch out 4 snowflakes with the Snow Blossom punch and stamp with a little snowflake (Punch Pals)

Punch a hole in each snowflake with the 1/16" hole punch - thread Silver Elastic Cord through the hole and then thread through the lid and tie 2 knots in the end of it to secure it as shown.

Notes: I used the NEW buttons Sizzix die for the 2 little buttons on the front of the Brocade Blue layer. I tied Linen Thread through each button.

I stamped the saying from Best Yet on the Small Tag Punch for the tag hanging from the handle.

I also stamped Be Merry from the Warm Words set and punch with the Oval Punches....attach this with Dimensionals.

Put 4 packs of cocoa in and you have yourself a WINNER!!!!

I will be doing this project as a Gift class in Menasha on November 17th.......

Go ahead - tackle it.....it really isn't as hard as it looks!!!! This would make a SUPER hostess gift in the next several month.....remember it's winter until March in Wisconsin! LOL

Use it for your own class! Make it a preorder class - they get the Holiday Lineup stamp set with the fee for the class! The stamp set alone would cost them $25.36 (5% tax area) - do the class for $35 - they bring their own cocoa packets!!!! Great way to get sales!

Please let me know if you find any errors with the templates or anything else....I haven't used them yet.
